    We are in need of client meal delivery volunteers Monday- Friday. The shift begins at 7am and generally concludes around 2:30 pm depending on the route and traffic that day.

     

    Volunteers who volunteer in the community representing God’s Love.  As such, we ask that volunteer dress appropriately for the weather and for their volunteer service, wearing clothing that is clean and in good repair.  In addition, volunteers should wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, and should not wear clothing that is revealing.  Volunteers should also pack a light snack and water for the road.

    This shift will help our meal packaging team with our Fed Ex clients that are shipped out every Monday. The shift will pack boxes, un pack the clients meals, put meals into a temperature controlled sleeve and then put the sleeve will be put into a box. Once this is done the box will be sealed and the clients fed Ex label along with 2 perishable labels will be added to the box. Our goal is to have at least 6 Volunteers to form a assembly line to make this process efficient.

    Volunteer on projects in our kitchen with the guidance of our on-staff chefs. Tasks may include packaging meals, chopping onions, making meatballs, ladling soup, peeling potatoes, scooping baked goods or preparing fresh herbs.

    If you are uncomfortable in a kitchen setting, including working with sharp knives, this is not the project for you.
